Description
Been playing Song Warrior for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you build up your own village and then raid other players’ villages. Pretty addictive if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you get these prompts, like “pick a song about dragons” or something, and everyone playing has to choose a song they think fits the prompt. Then you all jam out to the songs and vote on who picked the best one. There’s also a karaoke mode which is cool for parties.
Look, if you like strategy games and music, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying. But overall it’s a pretty fun time and worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of these music/strategy hybrid games and Song Warrior is one of the better ones. The gameplay loop is really engaging - the song prompts add a fun twist to the usual base-building and raiding. I like that you can use it for more than just solo play, like bringing it to karaoke nights. Not gonna lie, the ads can get old after a while, but it's free to play so I can't complain too much. If you're a fan of both strategy games and music, definitely give this a shot.
