Been playing Spades: Classic Card Games for a couple months now. It’s basically a really fun trick-taking card game where you team up with friends and try to outmaneuver your opponents. Pretty solid app if you’re into classic card games.

Here’s what you do: You’ve got a hand of cards and you’re trying to win tricks by playing higher cards. There’s also a bidding system where you try to match your bid – that’s where the strategy comes in. And there are goals to work towards, which is a nice little extra. Took me a while to get the hang of it but it’s pretty intuitive once you get going.

Look, if you’re a fan of games like Hearts or Rummy, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a great job of capturing the classic Spades experience. Worth checking out.

So here's my honest take on Spades: Classic Card Games. I've tested a bunch of card game apps and this one's right up there with the best. The strategic depth is impressive without being overwhelming, and the graphics look great even on my older phone. It's free to play too, so you don't have to spend money to enjoy it. The only real downsides are that the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But if you're a fan of trick-taking card games, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.
