Been playing Strange Horticulture for a couple months now. It’s basically an occult puzzle game where you run a little plant shop. You gotta find and identify all these weird plants, chat with the locals, and get mixed up in some spooky stuff. There’s a cool story that unfolds as you play, with a coven of witches and a mysterious cult.

Here’s what you do: you get customers coming into your shop asking for specific plants. And you gotta flip through your book, try to match the descriptions, and then hand over the right plant. There’s also a section where you can explore the surrounding woods and lakes to find new specimens. And you can even pet your cat! It’s a pretty chill, atmospheric game.

Look, if you’re into puzzle games with a supernatural twist, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the pacing can drag a bit and the map is kinda small – but overall it does a solid job of pulling you into this weird little town. Worth checking out.

So here's my take on Strange Horticulture. I've tested a bunch of these occult/supernatural puzzle games and this one's pretty good. The core plant identification mechanic is simple but addictive, and I really got invested in the creepy story. The atmosphere is on point - the art style and sound design really pull you in. But it's not without its flaws. The progression can feel a bit slow at times, and I wish there was more to explore outside the main town. Still, for a unique, well-executed concept, I'd say it's worth your time if you're into this kind of thing.
