Reviews for The Room Two

← Back to The Room Two

It was a fun puzzle game to play through. Depending how quickly you catch on to the way the puzzles are designed can determine how long it'll take for you to get through the game (though, they do have hints if you need them). Solid game. No ads. Enjoyable if you enjoy a bit of mystery with a small dash of horror to your puzzle games. I liked the ending and would love more lore about this world of "The Room". Good job, game devs.

The Room games are absolutely fantastic. I've played many other escape games and these are without a doubt the best... By far! Room two was a little longer than Room one. And possibly a bit easier. Or maybe I know what to look for now. I look forward to Room three. I don't like spending money on games but these are worth it! Challenging but not impossible. And the graphics and 3D play are just incredible.

I absolutely LOVE this game. The graphics are insane. The story line is engaging. The "hints" are just enough to keep me from bailing when I get stuck. I'm not a huge gamer on my Android, but The Room franchise has completely hooked me. Like a great book, I'm taking my time and savoring all the nuances buried in this beautiful puzzle story. Bravo to the devs.

I have played one and two so far. I picked up three as well! This is the phone game I've been looking for for a while. Just enough engagement to keep me coming back, but I'm able to find a stopping point when real life comes knocking. I think two was less challenging than one, but I still enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like was one clue I had to use because I did not know about one mechanic in the game. Otherwise, I felt the clues were just enough to help without doing the work for me.

Just finished the second one. These games are very addictive! If you like puzzles and/or escape rooms, you'll LOVE this game...at least I do! The only thing I think the developers could change is eliminating the letters, or use them to provide clues. I believe that was only the case for one level in the first game. Time to get the next one 😄

These games are fantastic. The story is interesting and mysterious without any contrived or awkward dialogue. The puzzles are challenging and well planned so there aren't things you see but can't click on just because they didn't want you to find it yet. The clues are laid out really well with multiple layers for each so you can go from a little nudge to a full blown push if you need it. Highly recommend these games to any puzzle lovers and am definitely looking forward to getting the next ones.

A nice linear game, but with enough difficulty to make it challenging. I confess I needed help once in a while, so it was especially nice to have free hints built into the game. I don't like games where the next step is so obtuse I would never think of it--this game has very few of those, so overall I think it is a great, relaxing puzzle-solving game.

This is a really fun puzzle/find the clues game. There are some places where there seems to be little or no indication of what to do, usually at the very beginning of a level. I know it's about solving the mystery and finding the clues, but sometimes it's hard to find clues when you don't have a starting point or some direction to get rolling. Overall, though, it's very fun. Sucks you right in.

Among the best puzzle/adventure games I've encountered in a long time and on any platform. It's particularly well executed and tailored for mobile/touch platforms where tactile control and gestures are exploited to good affect in a way I haven't seen in other major games of this genre on other platforms. A welcome addition in this second game of the series over the first is the ability to disable the hint system (this was too easily triggered in the first game and could spoil gameplay).

NOT your average room escape game! I got the first "The Room" game for free and enjoyed it enough to buy this one. After this one, I was completely hooked! Gorgeous graphics, intuitive controls, truly difficult but sensible puzzles, and most unusually for a room escape game, the ongoing story is really good, and quite deep! Like, I would happily read a book with this storyline. The story gets better with every game in the series, and I'm honestly sad I don't have any more to play after Old Sins.

4.5, rounded up. Fantastic and juuust a little creepy! I think I'm hooked. My only quibble so far is that when I DO get stuck and need to rely on a clue, they always seem to be 2 or 3 steps behind what I've already discovered, which can be a bit frustrating. Otherwise, great puzzles, curiosity-friendly. SUCH cool design! Two thumbs up!

Super good 'n' stuff. At least as good as the first one. The puzzles did seem a little easier than the first one but maybe there were more of them? Great graphics and sound. Lame story and reading the letters is useless except for a couple - meaning you have to plod through all the drivel for a couple important clues. But that's par for the course with this type of game so I don't count it as a strike. Everything else was great, just wish it was a little longer.

Reminds me of Myst and Riven from when I was a kid. If you enjoy puzzle boxes, mechanical puzzles and logic puzzles you will love it. It is challenging but not overly difficult. Story is mysterious and intriguing, if a bit shallow. It's not too hard to beat in a few hours. I played the original and this one both in one day. If you are playing casually though it will probably last you quite a bit longer than it did for me. I attacked it hard. Great game for a mobile game, and no pay to win.

This is, in my opinion, the gold standard of mobile gaming (and thats what I thought for the first entry to this series as well, but the sequel builds upon the success of the first 'The Room'). It's a game you can play anywhere, and it keeps you hooked with intriguing puzzles. I was completely enamored from the start, and couldn't put it down. Great job to the team over at Fireproof!

This takes the first Rooms game, and makes several improvements. The graphics and gameplay are every bit as good, but the puzzles are even better IMO - there's more depth to the game, with longer and more complex levels, more story and generally "more game". Only issue is that object placement can still be infuriating at times, which does detract from the experience. But that's it - would give it 4.5 stars if I could

I bought this series several years ago. I still run through them from time to time. they're easier to go through, but still complex enough to get some challenging game play. I love the graphics, the smoothness of the animation and the story lines. A big plus is that you buy the game once and not have to continuously make in game purchases.

Fun little puzzle game with a spooky atmosphere, improving and expanding on the original. No in-app purchases. Really tight theming and artistic direction, satisfying puzzles, not too difficult. While you can buy this series on PC, it's definitely optimized for a phone touchscreen as nearly all of the puzzles are very tactile.

this was a huge step up from the first game! I've wanted to play The Room Two for a long time but never got around to. the cutscenes in this game are amazing, and yet it all keeps the same grungy surreal visuals. I will say the puzzles were a little easier, but it was balanced out with how often I needed to use clues. amazing game! I love where the story went

these games have been an absolute delight 😆 I usually don't spend on apps, but after played the 1st, I fully intend to purchase them all. zero ads, no need to spend after purchase. the graphics are splendid! my ONLY criticism(a purely selfish one at that) is that there simply isn't enough levels. not to say that there aren't a lot of puzzles, i just want more 😂 i could work on these all day and night if allowed! abundantly clear they put a lot of thought&hard work into these!

Another brilliant game in The Room Series. Beautiful, haunting, immersive puzzle solving. Not easy, but not so difficult that it is discouraging. No ads, nothing required from the player other that a one time purchase. Then, all you have to do is play, and enjoy. I REALLY appreciate that. I'm off now, to download #3. I am truly enjoying this series and hope that other games from these folks follow the same no nonsense business model.
