I've tested a bunch of strategy games on my phone and Tokaido™ is one of the better ones. It's got a ton of depth without being overly complicated, and the visuals are really polished. The clan battles are where it's at - it's super satisfying to team up with friends and take down other players. And not gonna lie though, the grind can get old after a while. And those ads, man. But if you don't mind the occasional annoyance, this is a pretty great time-killer.

Description

Been playing Tokaido™ for a couple months now. It’s basically a board game where you’re a traveler in ancient Japan, trying to make your journey as fulfilling as possible. You’ll discover landscapes, try different foods, collect souvenirs, and meet other travelers along the way.

But here’s the thing – it’s not all just peaceful strolling. You’ll need to use some strategy to outmaneuver your opponents. There’s a bunch of cool features like building up your village, training troops, and battling other players’ clans. Took me a while to get the hang of it, but once you do, it’s pretty addicting.

Look, if you’re into strategy games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get grindy after a while and the ads can be annoying. But overall it’s a solid game that’s free to play, so it’s worth checking out.
