Been playing TORN for a couple months now. It’s basically a dark and gritty text-based RPG where you play as a criminal in a virtual city. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can build up your character’s stats, recruit gang members, and pull off all sorts of criminal activities – drive-by shootings, kidnapping, even bombing government buildings. And there’s also a neat clan system where you can team up with friends and fight other crews. Took me a while to figure out but it’s pretty fun.

Look, if you’re into hardcore, no-holds-barred strategy games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.

So here's my honest take on TORN. I've tested a bunch of similar text-based RPG games and this one's definitely one of the better ones. The level of depth and strategy is impressive, with tons of ways to build up your character and crew. And the writing and worldbuilding also have a great gritty, realistic feel to them. At the same time, I can see how the grind and monetization could turn some people off after a while. But if you're looking for an addictive, long-term strategy game, TORN is a pretty solid choice.
