So here's my take on Unbroken Soul. I've tested a bunch of retro platformers and this one stands out with its polished action and huge fantasy world to explore. And the controls are super responsive and it's got a nice level of challenge without being frustratingly hard. But I do find the progression system a little grindy, and the repetitive nature of the levels can get old after a while. Still, if you're a fan of the genre, I'd say it's worth giving Unbroken Soul a shot.

Description

Been playing Unbroken Soul for a couple months now. It’s basically a retro-style action platformer game where you run, jump, and slash your way through a huge fantasy world. The evil necromancer Elaniof is trying to take over, so you gotta help the king of Alaron defeat him and save humanity.

There’s dynamic 2D action with super smooth controls – you’ll be wall jumping, double jumping, and fighting tons of enemies. And the game’s got 9 beautifully designed regions to explore, from the Insolo Desert to Crisul’s Fortress. It’s a pretty epic adventure.

Look, if you’re into challenging platformers with a cool fantasy setting, you’ll probably dig Unbroken Soul. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a solid game that’s worth checking out.
