So here's my honest take on Voxelgram. I've tested a bunch of puzzle games and this one's actually pretty solid. The 3D twist on the nonogram formula is really cool, and the procedurally generated puzzles keep things fresh. The graphics look great and it runs smoothly even on older phones. The gameplay has a nice balance of challenge and relaxation - you really have to use your logic to figure out the puzzles, but it's not so frustrating that it stops being fun. Only real downside is the progression can get a bit grindy at higher levels if you don't pay. But for a free game, it's definitely worth giving a shot if you're into this type of thing.

Description

I’ve been playing Voxelgram for a couple months now. It’s basically a 3D take on those nonogram/picross puzzles where you build little dioramas by filling in blocks based on logical hints. Not a ton of action, but it’s a pretty chill and relaxing game to play.

There’s over 250 puzzles to solve, and they’re all procedurally generated so they’re different every time. And you start off with some simple ones and then they get progressively more complex. The goal is to fill in all the blocks to create a 3D model or scene. There’s also 26 different dioramas you can build by completing the puzzles.

Look, if you’re into puzzle games and just want something casual and relaxing to play, you’ll probably dig Voxelgram. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid 3D puzzle game that’s worth checking out.
