Been using Word Search Scanner and Solver for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you take a photo of a word search puzzle, then it scans and solves it for you. Pretty solid app if you’re into word games.
Here’s what you do: you take a pic of the puzzle, then the app uses some kinda optical character recognition to try to figure out the letters. If it misses anything, you can just tap on the letters to fix them. Then you can search for words in the puzzle – it’ll highlight them for you, even if they’re backwards or diagonal. There’s also a hint feature if you’re stuck, which is pretty cool. And you can time yourself, which is a fun challenge.
Look, if you’re into word search games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the OCR can mess up sometimes and it takes a bit of work to get it set up right. But overall it does the job and saves you a ton of time compared to doing it by hand. Worth checking out if you’re into that kinda thing.
