I’ve been playing Word Yatzy – Fun Word Puzzler for a couple months now. It’s basically a game where you have to make words from a random set of letters, kinda like Scrabble. But then there’s this Yahtzee-style scoring system where you’re trying to fill up different word categories to get points. Pretty solid app if you’re into word games and brain teasers.

Here’s what you do – you get a 5×5 grid of random letters and you’ve gotta spot as many words as you can. The more letters in the word, the more points it’s worth. But the real strategy comes in trying to fill up your scoring categories like 3-letter words, 4-letter words, etc. It’s got some nice graphics and it’s easy to play in short bursts. Took me a while to figure out all the scoring rules though.

Look, if you like word games and you’re looking for something new to try, I’d say give Word Yatzy a shot. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a fun time waster that’ll get your brain working. Worth checking out.
