Been playing Wordgrams – Crossword & Puzzle for a couple months now. It’s basically a new kind of crossword game where you team up with another player and work on the puzzle together. Pretty cool concept if you’re into word games.

Here’s what you do: Each player gets 5 random letters at the start of their turn, and you’ve got 60 seconds to place those tiles on the board. There’s also some picture clues mixed in which is a fun extra twist. And you get points for making words, using all your letters, and hitting certain bonus tiles – so it’s not just about filling in the boxes.

Look, if you’re a fan of crosswords and word puzzles, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a pretty solid game that’s worth checking out. Gives the classic crossword format a fresh spin.

So here's my take on Wordgrams - Crossword & Puzzle. I've tested a bunch of word game apps and this one's a pretty fun twist on the crossword format. The whole two-player thing works really well and adds an extra layer of strategy that I haven't seen in other puzzlers. The Scandinavian style clues and picture hints are a nice touch too. But yeah, the ads can get old quick unless you pay. And it does start to feel a bit repetitive after a while, even with the online multiplayer. Overall though, it's a solid word game that scratches that crossword itch in a new way.
