the amount of ads this game has is getting out of control. they come up after every level, even mid game! I would give the game five stars if it was not for the insane amount of ads. also, when I enter a word I know should be there it won't take it sometimes. so I end up spending on one of the hints and turns out the word they rejected is there after all.
This game used to be one of my favorites. Ever since the most recent update, everything in the app feels more jerky and poorly animated. The animations for when you earn hearts, coins, portraits, etc. are WAY too slow, not as smooth as they used to be, and are basically unskippable now. Unless they fix this and go back to the way things were, I'm going to uninstall.
This should be a five-star game, so why am I rating it 3 stars instead of 5? Two main reasons. Since the most recent update, it now takes 20 or more seconds to load (Pixel 9). That's too long, and I have been hoping to see another update that fixes that. Also, although I have the ad-free version, I am now seeing more intrusive pop-ups asking me to buy more bees, hints, etc. I call these ads. They don't bother me if they only happen once in a while, but they seem to be happening frequently now.
Way too many ads! I do like this game but not enough to sit through a long ad for stuff I don't want or need everytime I complete a puzzle. It's so frustrating I'm ready to just delete it bc it takes more time to get through the ads then actual playtime. Also they make them so you can't close out if them and it takes you to a download screen without you even clicking on it. The ads themselves are scams.
It isn't difficult to play if you have a decent grasp of English, but it never gets noticeably harder after the early levels, which may be a pro or a con for users. Unfortunately, this game also suffers from an abundance of ads. In the early stages, I'd get an ad every few levels, but by level 65, I was getting one after each level. The ads were for games that I wasn't at all interested in playing, and the game would put in its own popups asking for money. It also had many unnecessary gimmicks.
I like this game... but I don't like its ads. I understand ads help pay for things, but the sneaky way you can't skip them without being taken to the app store is trash. even a nanometer off the 'x' and you're taken to a download.... or the only way out is by clicking through to the play store??? ugh, I wish I had something nicer to say, but the glaring issue is the ad-pocalypse....
this game has an unacceptable amount of ads. Need to open your notifications-there's an ad. Finish a level-more likely than not you'll get an ad. Come back to the game after putting it down-ad. Some of the ads take up to a minute to finish and many of them give you fake "close/skip" options to trick you into opening the links. Truly the worst game in that regard... a shame really because the game play itself is decent!
This game use to be great. I had the paid version at one point and played it until around level 1500. I got a new phone and eventually reinstall the game recently. The ads now are ridiculously repetitive and extremely long after EVERY level you play. I would pay for the ad free version but that's gone now, and the only option is to pay $2.99 for only 7 days of ad free?? I'm uninstalling it and I will never download it again unless there's a fully ad free playable version. Disappointed.
In August, I paid for extra coins on 8/7, 8/14 and 8/21. My transactions went through and then I was locked out. I have played this game for 2 years. This month is the first time I've experienced this. I like this game but being ripped off 3 times in one month is ridiculous! I agree with complaints about the ads but losing money is unacceptable. I've sent an email complaint and hopefully they will resolve this issue. Beware paying to unlock coins.
Regardless of the "volume off" setting, eventually, the ads start popping up with volume. I've already had to delete the game (& my progress) once to fix the problem. I've sent in multiple messages and screenshots as requested, and the problem has only worsened. Now, it is every single ad! And there's LOTS OF ADS. More than most games I've played. It's infuriating that there's a "HELP" option, and it does the exact opposite to use it.
