So here's my honest take on Idle Planet Miner. I've tested a bunch of idle/incremental games and this one's actually one of the better ones. The core mining/upgrading loop is super addictive and there's a good amount of strategic depth without being overwhelming. And the graphics are also really nice and it runs smoothly even on older phones. My only real gripes are that the late-game progression gets grindy and the ads can be intrusive if you don't pay. But for a free-to-play game, it's a pretty solid option in this genre.

Description

Been playing Idle Planet Miner for a couple months now. It’s basically a space-themed strategy game where you build up your own mining empire. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: You start with a basic mining planet and slowly upgrade it to increase your ore production. There’s also a smelting mechanic where you can turn that raw ore into more valuable items. And you can even compete against other players in clan battles – that’s where it gets really fun. Took me a while to figure out all the different systems but it’s not too complicated.

Look, if you’re into incremental/idle games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can get grindy at higher levels and the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a pretty fun time waster that I’d recommend checking out.
