So here's my honest take on OBDLink (OBD car diagnostics). I've tested a bunch of car diagnostic apps and this one's pretty solid. It's got all the features you'd expect like reading codes, checking emissions, and monitoring live data. The customizable dashboards are a nice touch too. The only real downside is that the setup can be a pain if you've never used an OBD adapter before. But once it's working, it's a pretty useful app. I'd recommend it if you need a quick way to diagnose issues with your car.

Description

Been using OBDLink (OBD car diagnostics) for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you turn your phone or tablet into a car diagnostic scanner. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you connect your phone to your car’s onboard computer using one of OBDLink’s adapters, and then you can read trouble codes, check emissions readiness, and see real-time data on over 90 different parameters. There’s also a customizable dashboard feature, which is pretty cool. And you can even clear the check engine light – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into cars and want an easy way to diagnose issues, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the adapter can be a bit finicky to set up sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a portable car diagnostic tool.
