Ever since the latest updates, calls no longer connect. At most I get 1 ring and the call drops. Have made numerous attempts to make calls with no success. Used to work great. Now, not so much.
Reviews for 10-21 Police Phone
← Back to 10-21 Police PhoneGetting a fantastic error message today. "We were unable to read your settings from our server. They may not reflect the most recent updates." Can't use app. Can't update app. Just stuck without when I need it.
After Motorola took over, this app has become complete junk. Doesn't work unless you pay the monthly subscription fee and may not even work then, idk Im not paying the crazy service fee. The free app doesn't connect calls and/or drops them constantly. When Callyo owned this app it worked great. I don't recommend downloading.
Ok when it works. Love the idea, but it frequently changes audio output from bluetooth to speaker while on calls. Since the most recent update, it's signed me out. The app seems to not work with my (very common) password manager to log in. Motorola just bought the company so they'll probably ruin it like they have done with every other aquisition of a decent product.
My only issue with this app is that it does not work at all when trying to use bluetooth headphones. I have to disconnect from bluetooth entirely, or switch to speaker phone to complete a call. Other than that, the app is great.
While using the app making a phone call to a complainant, the lockscreen will timeout and mute the phone call entirely. The only work around is changing your screen time out to never shut off which destroys battery life. The app requires a subscription which is far more expensive than I believe it should be.
I have a paid account, and there was an update on the app. Upon restarted the app I was unable to log back in. Got a message that is not recognizing the user name and password. Reseted the password several times and still not working. Very frustrated with this issue 😡😤🤬
Won't let me create an account. Says my email address is a common misspelling and to try again. Well I can't since that's my email whether you think it's misspelled or not. Edit: created an account online and can login there. But it tells me my login is incorrect on the app. Would love to use this as my Sgt loves it but alas the app won't let me
I have coworkers that use this app daily. I have attempted multiple times to get an account where it says confirmation email has been sent. I have checked email, junk and secondary sections of my work email with no results. Can't find a way to contact anyone for assistance on this matter either.
This app is not giving the caller ID as law enforcement. It comes up as a spam risk. The caller ID should be programmable with the officers name and department. Also the number rotates and is not fixed. There should be a 24 hour link to the number from the time it is used for a call. That way the individual that was called can call the number back. Other than that its a good app.
Used and subscribed to the premium version of this app for a couple years, was great when it worked. Unfortunately I was essentially unable to make calls starting a few months ago, and no amount of uninstalling and reinstalling the app helped, nor did changing wireless networks or Wi-Fi settings. Unsubscribed and uninstalled.
Worked very well when I first installed it and used it. It's been awhile since I used it to place a call. After four attempts to complete a call, I stopped trying. I kept seeing the following messages: "Still trying" "Hanging up" Additionally, the volume quality is poor.
Broken privacy bug Was using this app for work and then I discovered while showing it to a co-worker.. if the citizen called you back it activated the mic on your phone and they could listen in on whatever you were doing, even with the app closed. That's scary. There was no notification of way to figure this out other than we found the bug while standing right next to each other. I'll never use this app again, can't trust it. Shame because it was an amazing tool.
Still doesn't work even after update. never rings. Won't call numbers. Absolute garbage app. Uninstalling.
This app used to be useful. Now you can't use it. It just rings and there's an open line, but nobody's on the other side. I would not use this app at this time. It's gone downhill since Motorola bought it.
Not sure what happened after upgrade, keeps logging me out and telling me my PW is wrong. Super annoying... I dont need any extra services, so I didnt allow all permissions and now it's just popup after popup. It worked fine before.
This app does exactly what it's intended to do. It gives Officers the ability to call Citizens, etc., without them actually having your cellphone number! When they call you back, you can arrange your settings where they will actually reach your Dispatch...perfect! I rely heavily on this app while working. Slight signal issues but nothing major. I highly recommend this app.
I have effectively stopped using the app because when the screen on my device times out, it stops working. The call is "dropped" in that the call remains active but I can't hear the people I'm calling and they can't hear me. When it works, it works great. But if I have a phone call last longer than about 30 seconds, it's pointless. For what it's worth, the guys on my department with iPhones don't have this problem.
Calls drop randomly, when you try to call from the recent call list it bugs out and force closes the app, calls don't go through, if a call does go through the person on the other side can hear you but, you can't hear them. So with all of this going on I STILL have to rely on *67 to make calls. I downloaded this app so I can actually get people to answer the phone. I'm giving 2 stars basically because the app is easy to use however, if the was complicated I would give this app 1 star.
This app used to work fine until the subscription update. Now all of the calls that I make fail to connect making the app worthless. I'll just have the desk make the calls for me, or just dial *67. There are also plenty of free apps still around. Update: The latest update to the app must have fixed whatever the connection problem was, so it works again.
