I love Andy's podcast and needed to lose some weight, so I got this app. The app is slow at times, when I click on things from the menu, half the time it takes me back to the dashboard, I can't figure out how to delete things from my meals that accidentally got added or I didn't eat, recipes are hard to find and add etc. It definitely needs some work, but I like where they're going. I also like the price point for premium. Overall, clunky, but it does the job (most of the time.)

Good free app for basics. Subscribe for best use. Pro's: Different types of programmed workouts. Great at tracking macros, big food database and barcode scanner. Con's: When adding sets it pulls up a keyboard instead of just a number pad & scrolls down so you can't see what you're typing. Logging weights it opens a number pad but also scrolls down. Some exercises have alternates, some don't. Can't add add'l sets or excercises. Can't log wgt for each drop set.
It's a decent fitness tracking app. I wouldn't pay for it if I wasn't working with my coach outside of the app as well. At least it's up front about costing money rather than trying to get you with something "free" and then making you pay for premium. It also needs a way to timestamp meals in order for coaches to help identify eating patterns and how they interact with compliance and exercise performance
So great, I hav tried other ways of losing weight and getting in shape, but none have compared! My advisor, Jeremy, is always on top of things. He is quick at responding and it is not justbthe same ol' robotic response. The guidance, team mentality and personalization is first class! The app is super easy to use, tracking food is made simple, the step counter and leaderboard are fun to have for a bit of competitiveness.
I like the concept of the app, but it has so many problems. I have an Android, but it doesn't track my steps. It freezes. There are exercises without illustrations. How can you do an exercise if you don't know what it is. I do like the way it displays macros. I am involved in a challenge, and it lost my photos. I don't know if i will continue after the challenge. It does keep me honest. I wish I could see a printout of my workout notes. Wouldn't be nice if it made food suggestions (wishful thinking) or alarms for bad choices.
Edit. Since dev thinks they're right.. what's missing from literally every app, is an option to SELECT the swapped out workout. It only gives you ONE to swap, and it's never a good one. Give us a list to pick from. As someone who needs to modify some weeks for health its sad that I can't truly track that modification...it has a swap out feature yes, but it'll only have 1 option, and that 1 ISN'T Always there.. either give multiple to pick from, or let us pick based on muscle is grouping.
I like the app but wish at the end of the day, when past midnight, I could go back and add information for the day I didn't have time to add previously. Also, I have a new fitbit and can't get it to sync my steps with the app so it never counts then and I don't know how to add my steps. It's not the most user friendly app, unfortunately, except for the nutrition aspect. I love that part most of all.
This app is amazing. It has become a daily ritual for me as I use it to track my macros & workouts every day. They give how-to videos if you're not sure how to do an exercise. You can scan your foods which is very convenient. You can watch their live videos that teach you & help to stay on track. Not to mention the challenge is easy to register for! Hands down the best app I've used for fitness goals. (I use premium)
I was shocked at the price increase and pondered for some time as to whether or not to continue my subscription. I understand price increases but 100%+ is ridiculous. Nevertheless, I signed up for another month with additional re-evaluation to come. Then, just as I'm nearing the end of my 1st workout after subscribing, the app goes haywire and won't load. Yes, all my other apps were working fine. Not a good start when one is already on thin ice.
I have used the free and the premium versions of the app and have enjoyed both. Like many, I was stunned when they announced such a rate increase but paid it anyway because I enjoyed the options in workouts and the ability to connect with an advisor. I also enjoyed being able to log my food but it doesn't track sodium or sugar intake. I have reactivated my subscription and use the app regularly. It's worth the price. The only thing I would like added is have a sport based training program.
