I’ve been using ACS Regional for a couple months now. It’s basically an app for the American Chemical Society’s regional conferences and meetings. If you’re into chemistry and networking with other chem folks, this app’s pretty solid.
Here’s what you can do – you can build your own agenda for the conference, check out the exhibitor list, and even join live discussions during the sessions. There’s also a cool networking feature where you can connect with other attendees. Took me a while to figure that one out but it’s pretty useful.
Look, if you’re a chemist or work in the industry, you’ll probably get a lot out of this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times and the push notifications get annoying. But overall it does the job of keeping you organized and connected at the conference. Worth checking out if you’re heading to an ACS regional meeting.
