So here's my honest take on AHA ACLS. I've tested a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty good. The content is super comprehensive, like it's got everything you'd need to know for ACLS. And the simulation scenarios are great for practicing. But I do find the UI a little outdated and not as intuitive as some newer apps. And it can get a bit overwhelming with all the features if you're not familiar with ACLS already. Overall though, if you're a healthcare worker, this is a solid app to have in your toolkit.

Pros

  • Tons of detailed ACLS protocols and drug info
  • Simulation scenarios to practice running codes
  • Free to use, no paid upgrades needed
  • Great for both learning ACLS and quick reference

Cons

  • Interface feels a little dated and cluttered
  • Can be tough to navigate if you're new to ACLS
  • Occasionally glitchy on older devices

Description

Been using AHA ACLS for a couple months now. It’s basically a medical app that helps doctors, nurses, and EMTs deliver top-notch cardiac care. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda stuff.

Here’s what you do: you can look up ACLS protocols, get step-by-step guidance on running codes, and even practice scenarios. There’s also a built-in drug calculator – that’s been really useful. And you can track your team’s performance, which is cool.

Look, if you work in healthcare, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface is a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a reliable ACLS resource.

The logs need to have actual time stamps not just a count down stamps.

Hm... A potentially life-saving app that costs money. I didn't realize one could put a price on life; guess I was wrong.

There is no place to record rhythm during rhythm checks... otherwise wouldve been a great app
