Been using AnSo Anaesthesia Sonoanatomy for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps anaesthetists identify common sonoanatomy and understand the surrounding structures. Basically a useful tool for doctors working in the operating theatre.
There’s a bunch of features – you can see examples of different sonoanatomy, which is great for learning pattern recognition. It’s got some sketches too that show the landmarks, which is handy for exams. And there’s even a bunch of different views of the same anatomy, since everyone’s body is a little different.
Look, if you’re a trainee anaesthetist or just interested in ultrasound and regional anaesthesia, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the user interface could be a bit slicker – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re in that field.
