Reviews for Apollo Neuro

I've had this device for almost 2 years now, and I love the concept and it... When it works.I regularly have to spend 5+ minutes trying to get it to connect, which I don't have most of the time. For an expensive device that has a great concept behind it, they really need to hire a new app developing team. For a tool to manage stress, this is there straw that breaks me some days--feel the stress bubbling up, then try to use a tool I have, and it doesn't work. Do better, Apollo Neuro.

The app is awful. It only sporadically connects. It's been 3 years and they still haven't improved it. You can set favorites, but it doesn't default to them so I have to set the time and intensity I want every time. The scheduling works occasionally, but is not at all reliable. On top of that, I paid $350 for this. Any new features they add are locked behind a subscription service. Fix what you have and add features that everyone who has put up with this can use.

I, like others, have been impacted by the recent update which seems to have damaged the ability to connect with an Android phone. However, my Apollo has zero issue connecting to my iPad and the iOS app actually works great (average rating in the 4's). So at least I can still use my Apollo at home. I hope this gets resolved for the Android soon. 2 stars because the device itself is great, but I'm frustrated that it can be rendered completely inoperable by a bad app update.

I'm really frustrated with this app! I've had the Apollo Neuro for a couple of years and upgraded to SmartVibes when it came out. I've had numerous issues with connectivity over the past two years. But, now it's horrible. The device isn't recognizing when I'm asleep, and it's activating "sleep" modes when I'm awake. In addition, SmartVibes just isn't working. I've contacted tech support several times and have not received a solution.

Feels like I'm on the fast track to forced obsolescence. Everything worked mostly fine, a year ago, when I bought this. Then came the 2.0 and app update. Since, it has taken at least three tries to connect to the device, every single time I want to use the controls. Lately, it's been more like six. This time, it took a phone restart, attempted device reset, 12 hours of intermittently watching loading screens... It finally worked when my toddler found it and started mashing the buttons randomly.

This is my second Apollo device and side from the shorter battery life, it works as well as my first one did. The app however, doesn't seem to work as well. It takes longer to connect to my device, and it has to reconnect if I change the vibe while I'm wearing it. Also, it doesn't show how long one vibe has been running accurately. I can set a vibe to run for 1 hour, and I will notice that I didn't feel the vibration anymore, but the time on the app only shows about 5 minutes.

I've been using the Apollo Neuro with an Android for several years I've been using the Apollo Neuro with my Android device for several years and I've noticed a significant improvement with the App. The Focus Program on the Apollo (one of the default programs) can eliminate a lower-grade migraine if I catch it early enough. The Social program helps me enjoy being around ppl when I don't want to. and I like that I can create a schedule so that certain programs run at certain times.

The concept works, it does relieve stress, calms, and relax into sleep. My issue and reason for 2 stars is battery life and I paid for the membership, that doesn't work in the app. It tells me I have to update, but im already on the updated app. constant emails with lower membership costs is annoying. the cost is too high for the poor app.

I've never dealt with a less consistent Bluetooth device. It fails to connect, disconnects, fails to start "vibes" programs, stops them randomly while the app says they're running, runs them while the app says they're paused, and is generally too inconsistent to be reliable for regular use. It can take north of five minutes to get something done that should take two taps.

I had high hopes for this device and the app. Unfortunately I will never know whether the device itself is beneficial because the app is complete garbage. Constantly crashes, becomes unresponsive, glitches, error codes, etc, etc. I wanted this to work, but I have to return it (ironically the whole experience did the opposite of what this device advertised).
