Description
I’ve been using ArriveCAN for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you fill out your customs and immigration info before you get to the airport. Pretty solid if you’re a frequent international traveler.
Here’s what you do: you can submit your travel details up to 72 hours before your flight. There’s also an option to scan your passport right in the app. And once you get to the border, you just confirm your info and you’re good to go – no more waiting in long lines at the kiosk.
Look, if you travel to Canada a lot, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to save time at the border.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on ArriveCAN. I've tested a bunch of travel apps and this one's pretty good. The biggest plus is how it lets you get all your customs stuff done ahead of time. In my experience, that's a total lifesaver at the airport. The app's also free, which is nice. On the downside, the UI could be a little more user-friendly. And I've found that the passport scanning feature is hit or miss sometimes. But overall, I'd say it's a solid option if you need to save time at the Canadian border.
