I’ve been using C-MAP Boating for a couple months now. It’s basically a navigation app for boaters – you can use it to plan routes, track your trips, and access weather forecasts and charts. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can explore maps, drop pins for your favorite spots, and even use the autorouting feature to plan the best way to get somewhere. And there’s also a weather overlay which is pretty cool. And you can record your trips and share GPX files – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re a recreational boater or just love being on the water, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
