Description
Been using the Chicago Tribune app for a couple months now. It’s basically a news app focused on all things Chicago – politics, sports, entertainment, you name it. Pretty solid if you’re into keeping up with the latest happenings in the Windy City.
There’s a ton of content here – you can follow your favorite Chicago sports teams, get the latest breaking news, and even build a personalized news feed based on your interests. And it’s got exclusive videos and photo galleries too, which is a nice touch. And you can save articles to read later, which is super handy.
Look, if you’re a Chicagoan or just love the city, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a great job of keeping you in the loop on what’s going on. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on the Chicago Tribune app. I've tested a bunch of news and local apps, and this one's pretty solid overall. The variety of content is great, from breaking news to sports to dining - it's got everything a Chicagoan would want. The personalization features are a nice touch too. That said, the repetitive ads can get old after a while, and the higher-level content unlocks feel a little grindy. But if you're looking for a go-to app to stay connected with your city, this is a great option.
