Description
Been using CrimeRadar for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that maps live emergency radio so you can track nearby incidents, hear what’s happening, and stay safe. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can see a map of your area with all sorts of alerts – everything from wildfires to car crashes. There’s also an option to listen to the original emergency radio feeds, which is pretty cool. And you can customize the alerts to only show the stuff you care about.
Look, if you’re into public safety and staying on top of what’s going on around you, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Summary
So here's my honest take on CrimeRadar. I've tested a bunch of safety and emergency apps, and this one's pretty solid. The live mapping and radio feeds are super useful if you want to know what's going on in your area. And the customizable alerts mean you only get notified about the stuff that matters to you. But it's not without its flaws - the ads can get old after a while, and the interface takes some getting used to. Still, if you want a quick way to stay on top of local emergencies, CrimeRadar is worth a look.

just downloaded this app. and its amazing... one of the best I've seen so far.. not every word of police transcripts are totally accurate of course, but easy to decipher.....
Decent, but not being able to sort by date is frustrating. There seems to be no rhyme or reason how incidents are listed
Great idea for an app, but living in a major city burb I get hardly any notifications. Surprising since a lot goes on around here. Also I am unable to...
