Description

Been using Finch: Self-Care Pet for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you with your mental health and self-care. You get this cute little pet that you take care of by doing quick daily exercises – stuff like journaling, meditation, mood checks, and more. Basically, you’re taking care of yourself by taking care of your pet. It’s a pretty cool concept.

Here’s what you do: every day, you check in with your pet and do a few different self-care activities. And there’s a whole library of exercises to choose from, like gratitude journaling, breathing exercises, and even creative tasks. It’s got a fun little world you can explore and earn rewards too. Took me a bit to get the hang of it, but it’s actually made self-care feel more rewarding and fun.

Look, if you struggle with building self-care habits or just staying on top of your mental health, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does a great job of making self-care feel less like a chore. Worth checking out, in my opinion.

Editor Opinion

So here's my honest take on Finch: Self-Care Pet. I've tested a bunch of mental health and self-care apps, and this one's definitely one of the better ones. I like how it gamifies the process and makes it feel more rewarding. The daily exercises are quick and varied, so it doesn't feel like a huge commitment. And the pet mechanic is a really clever way to stay motivated. That said, the ads can get old after a while, and I wish there were more flexibility in customizing the activities. But overall, it's a solid app that makes self-care feel way less daunting.
