Been using Guitar Tuner – Simple Tuners for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you tune your guitar, whether you’re a beginner or an expert. You can tune visually with the dial and needle, or just tune by ear using the tuning notes. It’s pretty simple – just play any string and the app will automatically detect which one it is and help you get it in tune.
There’s also a built-in metronome, which is great for practicing. And you can save your custom tuning presets, which is handy. Took me a bit to figure all that out, but once I did, the app’s been really useful.
Look, if you play guitar, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface is a little basic and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall, it does the job and it’s free, so it’s worth checking out.
