I’ve been using Hearing Clear: Sound Amplifier for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you boost the volume and clarity of sounds around you. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you can turn on the sound amplifier and it’ll basically make everything louder. There’s also an equalizer where you can tweak the settings to get the exact sound you want. And it’s got this ‘hearing from a distance’ mode which is pretty cool – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.

So here's my honest take on Hearing Clear: Sound Amplifier. I've tested a bunch of sound amplifier apps and this one's pretty solid. The features work well and it's easy to use. The 'hearing from a distance' mode is a nice touch. But I will say the ads can get pretty intrusive if you don't pay. And the equalizer takes some fiddling to get it just right. Overall though, it's a reliable sound amplifier that gets the job done.
