Ok. Third review: the expanded content and annual membership is something that is worth the investment. I would like to see another "challenge workout" that spans a few weeks or so, but I do enjoy the variety that they have. Previous review(s) from 2019 and shortly after released.... was 5 star, had a great concept, free version is still 5 star thiigh it can get repetitive after a while. 9.99 a month? No thank you, theres plenry of small gyms that offer almost the same price for a membership.
Reviews for Home Workout - No Equipment
← Back to Home Workout - No EquipmentI love the fact that their main exercises are free and you can purchase extra premium exercises if you want to. All the other apps I've tried you have to pay for a subscription, but for those of us who are looking for a free or cheaper option, this app is awesome and the free exercises are great! They're hard, but you can make them easier or harder, depending on what level you are in your fitness regimen. This is a great fitness app & I NEVER give 5 stars, but I'm giving this app 5 stars!
Just download this app. Seriously. It's exactly what we all need. I travel for work and I have struggled over the years with a workout routine that allows me to exercise, regardless of where I am located, rain or shine. Hotel gym equipment is inconsistent at best, this allows me to remain consistent. The progression from Beginner then Intermediate to Advanced has worked perfectly for me. I haven't tried the other programs ... but I assume they are just as effective and varied. Just try it.
I started with the six pack in 30 days app, and it was very good. there was a program and i got resalts. I then went to the arm work out with the same experionce 5 stars. So when I downloaded this app i was excited for the options it offerd with chest, legs and back, but it was dissapinting with only three exercises of varying difficulty for each with no program, This is not what I expected. Also some of the exercises are not relevant to the area of the body that is supposably being worked.
I like using this ap. It's at my pace, as far as when I want to workout. The workout itself shows great demonstration and the muscles that you are working. Great balance of time in exercise, with a rest in between, so you can catch breath if needed, or transition from floor to upright. I use this ap as a filler, or an add on, so that I can keep strengthening my core.
The workouts are generally good and require little to no equipment. I only wish it offered a finer-grained way to tailor the workouts to my abilities (beyond just rating how hard an entire workout was). For example, in the beginner ab workout, I've always felt that the leg raises are 100x harder than all the other exercises combined. The app tells me how to make some exercises easier--just not the one that is actually too hard for me.
I don't go to gyms as a rule, so this app is right up my ally. After completing week one, not consecutive either, I feel more strength and energy than I had before. I also have a bad back and neck and after a couple days of consecutive work outs I feel the pain diminishes to a completely manageable level, being almost nothing as opposed to what I'm used to. I would definitely recommend this app.
Great app for working out without all the gym equipment. There are three levels to choose from in the different areas of the body that you want to work on. There is also an option to work on the whole body. After each exercise the app will ask you to rate the exercise plan too easy, a little easy, a little hard, too hard or just right and then it will adjust your next exercise session accordingly.
I'm about a week in so far. I didn't expect much since I'm using the free version but I'm pleasantly surprised. Even without paying, the workout coaching does a great job at putting together a personalized routine for me. A short ad pops up after doing a challenge and I don't mind it. Instead of paying monthly for the workouts that aren't included in the free version, there's just a 30 second ad to wait for. Maybe not for everyone but it works for me.
I'm using this to get back into shape so I can enlist, it allows you to choose how hard or difficult it will be, and even allowed me to choose if the tasks were too hard to do. It's helpful and the videos are also great for if you don't know how to do something. I also appreciate that you can add time to the breaks in case you still need a moment. Just a great app to me and I would recommend it to most. Adds are short and pop up less than most apps so it's also handy.
It's free, it's great, it actually works, it has animations to teach you how to do it and gives you tips you let you know how you would know if you are doing it wrong. Did I say it's free! It has a few ads that aren't intrusive. I wish it had a nutrition guide, too, since nutrition goes together with exercise. I am using it, and I m happy. This is beginner friendly 100%
I have been using this app for over 3 years and I am so grateful for it!! It has EVERYTHING . From stretches to workouts at every level...and if you do everything right you WILL see results .. other than some adds its perfect .. it's gotten me the strongest I've been . Amd completely balanced . Since it has separate work outs for different muscles . Consistency should be put in from your end. And if you want more you can add weights in, just wish there was more back work outs!!
Great workout app, monthly subscription with workout routines each day. It pairs well with beginners trying to get in shape but aren't ready for the gym. I weigh 260 ibs, and the workouts they give me are great and doable. You can see the workout routine is for the day and if something seems to difficult you can swap it with a different workout within the same muscle group or mix it up and hit different muscles. I put in my weight, height, and body fat. It says I'll be down 40ibs by Sept 2025.
3rd time down loading this app, first time round barely used it, struggling to finish 2-28 day challenges in a year. 2nd time used more getting 5 1/2 challenges in a year. lost phone and saw there was a new updated version. I work out at home and don't want or am able to buy expensive equipment so I love the no equipment needed routine. have and will recommend not only this plan but any and all of "LEAP FITNESS" apps. also downloaded there dumbbell, and stretching apps. Thank you Leap FITNESS
Great app best part is that is free and if you find a workout hard it will make an easier plan for you. Based on your end goal there are workout plans. Thanks to the team. You are making impact. Updated review Aug 10: The app keeps getting better. Currently there is switch exercise button. If you don't like an exercise or can't do it at home you can switch it for another similar exercise. Also, many workouts can be opened by seeing an ad. There are exercises for all levels.
Great free app w tons of info, tips & videos & swap out exercises, within limits (see below). Main downsides: 1. Full body plan: most full bodies have legs! Add lower body exercises or rename! 2. Pushups male centric. Female muscles differ & "easier" workouts impossible. Swapouts mostly more pushup variations! Have realistic workouts for female bodies! 3. Free access unintuitive: don't mislead with many questions relevant only to paid. At end, exit, go back in & free access but ignores answers
Love this app so far, I can already feel myself getting stronger because of it and it really only takes a few minutes out of my day. One thing I don't like though is that it and the notifications it sends are a LOT more focused on looking good/developing a figure rather than getting stronger, I don't exactly care for losing weight, what I care for is getting stronger.
Home Workout - No Equipment is a game-changer for fitness enthusiasts. The exercises are well-structured, effective, and perfect for all levels. No gym? No problem! The guided routines and clear animations keep me motivated every day. The variety ensures no boredom, and progress tracking is a huge plus. Highly recommended for anyone serious about staying fit at home! 💪🔥
Good app used it, and everything's going fine, making progress, good for anyone without any equipment and actually trying to stay fit at home. Edit: I wanted to leave a more detailed review: Before each workout theres rest time and you can increase it as much as you want, theres also detailed instructions on how you should breath, how the exercise is performed, and the correct techniques even videos, after each session they ask how it was and if they should make it easier, harder or the same.
(Edited) This app keeps improving, and I use it every day. Lots of different plans, so you can choose the best for your needs. You can progress as fast or as slow as your body accepts. You can modify existing workouts: change reps, exercises and their order; delete exercises; but, bizarrely, you can't add to a workout (no response from the dev about this 🙁️). It synchronises over the cloud, a blessing when I got a new phone. This app has proven its worth to me for years already.
