Description

Been using HR2VP Watch Bike Computer for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you use your smartwatch as a heart rate monitor and cycling tracker while you’re riding your bike. Pretty solid app if you’re into fitness tech and connected workouts.

Here’s what you do: you can connect your Wear OS watch to bike computers like Garmin Edge or broadcast your heart rate and power data to indoor cycling apps like Zwift. There’s also the option to just use the watch on its own as a BLE heart rate monitor during your rides. Took me a little while to figure out all the features but it’s pretty useful overall.

Look, if you’re into tracking your cycling workouts and don’t want to buy a dedicated bike computer, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the Garmin integration can be a bit finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’ve got a Wear OS watch.

Editor Opinion

So here's my honest take on HR2VP Watch Bike Computer. I've tested a bunch of fitness apps and this one's pretty solid for using your smartwatch as a bike computer. The heart rate and power monitoring features work well, and I like that you can connect it to other apps and devices. It's not as full-featured as a dedicated bike computer, but it gets the job done if you don't want to buy extra hardware. The setup can be a little tricky at first, but once you've got it connected it's pretty seamless. Overall, a good option if you're looking to track your rides with just your watch.
