love this app using the themes make my texts m magical and fun definitely could turn a bad day into a great day just by opening your phone !!

My experience today is that Magic SMS is THEE BEST text messaging app in the Google Play Store. All of the customizable options are most appreciated. The only positive constructive critique I would dare to say is if they had an option to substitute an image from my personal photo gallery and use that as the wallpaper/background theme.

only able to pick from about 15 themes, to pay for a subscription you would think that it would be more than that

I love this app. It's worth becoming a premium member, too. Just a lot of beautiful options, ringtones, and themes. Bravo!

Great app but unfortunately it does not allow for me to use my music ringtones which I have set for certain people to prioritize importance. Have to uninstall for now 😑

as of now just 3 star. I wish I could use it for years.anyway this is my first day using this magic sms,hopefully in the next update of magic sms will have a bubble style or bubble color. and in color font to choose from. especially no delaying for the incoming text message or in notif. and also hoping to add or to increase the input line text inside the typing message box,that's all right now.

Am I the only person who can't figure out how to find the emojis in this app? I've been looking for hours and nothing. I see where there's settings that allow users to choose which kind of emojis can be used (system vs Android Oreo) but that's about it. Please make this more user-friendly. Edit: I've reached out to the email listed for app support and there has been no response.

If everything worked I would rate this app 5 stars. To begin, I love being able to filter for texts that have not been read. I also like being able to mark a text as unread. I also love being able to name individual senders and groups. Lately, the groups I created do not appear to be working. i.e., I sent a birthday greeting to an individual in a group of friends (15)in NJ. I sent it to the entire group, includes my wife. She saw it & responded. No 1 else has responded that I can tell.

Straight forward texting software, with a couple of extras. The only request is that unread messages had a different color on the list instead of a dot. I paid for the software.

works great but, not enough wallpapers to chose from UPDATE: I'm so glad that you added some wallpapers. I absolutely love the new Halloween themes. I hope you can add for all the holidays. I've been using this app for years & I want to continue with my subscription but, you need to add a few more (Holiday) wallpapers.

Update: Deleted. I was in Teams meeting when I noticed the app typing what was being said in my meeting in the text box... It's listening. Plus, it's buggy... Original: I can't send video and believe the app is crashing my connection with Bluesound music streaming. Now the text screen freezes randomly... I was about to pay to get rid of the ads. I'm glad I waited...

Love being able to change background themes, fonts, etc. that are not available on most texting apps. 08/12/24 Update: After having this app. for a year (with annual subscription) I started getting ads, as if I wasn't paying for the app. Have no idea what's going on! I had to reduce rating to 3 stars.

This is a really nice messenger app. I wish I could pay a one time fee & not be on a hook, every month, or even every year, to get rid of the ads. The ads are gonna have to be it for me. Some of the ads are too loud. I'm not gonna even look at those ads. I will get it off my phone ASAP. I wish I could open the conversation settings & select to Black List a number there. I want to get rid spam texts, permanently.

this is the best app i have seen yet. doeseverything i want. and looks great. the only problem is the ads. there is a constant ad within too of the app and that is fine, but after a couple texts there is a full screen ad abd it it is lengthly. too long in my opinion compared to other apps. and the option to sign up for ad free is pricy. if this keeps up i am uninstalling and moving on again. sadly to say.

It's not bad. Emailed support, but never got a response. The program itself is not bad at all. However, about 60% of the time the pictures won't send, and have issues rexicieving them sometimes. I like the private conversation part , but it needs to be hidden in a separate application, cause all it takes is the wrong person to see "Private messages" and then the fight is on. It needs to be hidden alot better, other than that and picture thing, it's does its job.

Great messaging app. But for me, I wish videos would open right in this app. I receive alot of videos and don't have the time to watch right away. Back and forth in and out of the app I have to go through all of the videos one by one to delete what I've watched 😩. In the settings it says open in app but it doesn't work. Suggestion: please install a video player for YouTube.

I enjoy this app. I like that I can change my font, which is the main reason I installed it. I also like that you can rename group threads, and archive conversations. However, the photos they use to showcase the app are very misleading. You cannot customize the theme or the colors. They give you preset themes, which are nice, but they are very loud and obnoxious. And they are hard to read. I would appreciate simpler themes, and the ability to customize the bubble colors in a thread.

While Magic SMS does offer substantially more bells and whistles than competing SMS apps, it also comes with a rather hefty price tag (IMHO). 47.88 per year (when paid monthly), or $00.00 per year if paid for annually. And the cost isn't 'one and done, but is recurring! To be fair, I feel this is justifiable IF the app is substantially upgraded at least annually, but this remains to be seen - I am ever the skeptic. Additionally, there does NOT appear to be a website!

Great app. Way better than the sms one that came stock. The color and background choices sold me. One question to the developers or users; is there a way to delete the sounds I don't and will never use? I've been able to delete other sounds from other apps before, like the TextNow app or atleast the version of it that I had. But I can't seem to locate the files for this one. Any idea?
