So here's my honest take on magicApp. I've tested a bunch of second number apps and this one's pretty solid. The core features work well - it's easy to switch between your main number and the magicApp one. The unlimited calling and texting is super convenient, especially when you're traveling. And the Wi-Fi calling is a nice bonus too. But the app does have some issues - it can be glitchy at times and the interface is a little outdated. Not a dealbreaker, but it could use some polish. Overall though, it's a great affordable option if you need a second line.

Description

Been using magicApp Calling & Messaging for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that gives you a second phone number you can use on your mobile. Pretty solid if you need a separate line for work or personal stuff.

Here’s what you do: you can pick a US number with any area code, then use that number to make unlimited calls and send texts. There’s also the option to call over Wi-Fi so you don’t have to worry about roaming charges when you travel. And the pricing is affordable – way cheaper than getting a second phone.

Look, if you’re always jumping between your work and personal phones, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit buggy at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a second line.
