So here's my honest take on MapQuest: Get Directions. I've tested a bunch of navigation apps and this one's pretty solid. The voice directions are clear and it's easy to use. The traffic updates are handy too. But it's not the most feature-packed app out there - the maps could be more up-to-date and the interface is a bit dated. Still, for basic navigation it gets the job done. Not bad if you just need something simple and reliable.

Description

I’ve been using MapQuest: Get Directions for a couple months now. It’s basically a GPS navigation app that gives you turn-by-turn voice directions whether you’re driving or walking. Pretty solid app if you’re into getting from Point A to Point B without getting lost.

Here’s what you can do: plug in an address and it’ll map out the route for you. There’s also real-time traffic updates, so it’ll reroute you to avoid jams. And it’s got a speedometer feature – kinda nice to know how fast you’re going compared to the speed limit.

Look, if you need a reliable navigation app, MapQuest is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the maps can be a little outdated sometimes – but overall it does the job. I’d say it’s a good alternative to the big name apps out there.

Interface isn't intuitive. Adding stops is a complicated process, especially when trying to add a destination between the starting point and the final destination. Searching for categories of businesses yields...

Downloaded the app just now. After entering direction & starting a voice navigation, it sounded as a dying human in last min of her life, too slow speaking speed, scary...

Good application! Really needed it to come through! First, as you drive it didn't keep up well and you can actually pass the street before it calibrates to keep up....
