Description
Been using MuseScore: sheet music for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can browse and play over 2 million pieces of free sheet music. Real solid if you’re into music and instruments.
Here’s what you do – you can search for all kinds of scores, from classical to video game soundtracks. And there’s also a big community where people share their own compositions. And you can view and practice the music right on your phone, which is super convenient.
Look, if you’re a musician or just like messing around with sheet music, you’ll probably get a lot out of this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want access to a huge library of free scores.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on MuseScore: sheet music. I've tested a bunch of music apps and this one's pretty solid. The selection of scores is really impressive - you can find just about anything, from Beethoven to Zelda. I like that it's free and you don't have to pay to access the full library. The playback features are well done too, makes it easy to practice. On the downside, the app can be a bit buggy at times and the interface isn't the most intuitive. But overall, it's a great option if you want a huge catalog of free sheet music.
