Description
Been using mydlink for a couple months now. It’s basically a home security app that lets you monitor your cameras and get alerts. Pretty solid if you’re into home monitoring and security.
Here’s what you can do: you can view your cameras live, get alerts when motion or sound is detected, and even record video. And there’s also some automation features – you can set up rules to have your lights turn on when someone shows up, for example. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually pretty useful.
Look, if you’ve got home security cameras, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to keep an eye on your place.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on mydlink. I've tested a bunch of home security apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The live camera feeds work well and the motion/sound alerts are reliable. The automation features are cool too, though the setup is a bit tricky. My main gripe is the interface - it can be confusing to navigate sometimes. But if you don't mind that, it's a pretty handy app to have.
