Description
Been using NDI Camera: Easy Streaming for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you use your phone as a live-streaming camera for things like Zoom, Teams, and other video calls. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: you just open the app, hit a button, and it starts sending high-quality video and audio to your computer. And there’s also a tally light feature which is pretty cool. And you can switch between different cameras on your phone – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you need to add extra camera angles or a mobile viewpoint to your live streams, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re a content creator or just want an easy way to livestream from your phone.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on NDI Camera: Easy Streaming. I've tested a bunch of livestream apps and this one's pretty solid. The video quality is great and the low latency is a big plus. The UI could use some work, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use. Definitely better than trying to stream straight from your phone's camera app. Not perfect, but it gets the job done well enough for most people's needs.

Installed, set up and connects quickly to the studio. However, there doesn't seem to be an option for 60fps (is this intended?) and I am having problems with the sound....
