Description

Been using Philo: Shows, Movies, Live TV. for a couple months now. It’s basically a TV streaming service that gives you access to over 70 live channels plus a huge on-demand library. Pretty solid app if you’re into watching tons of TV shows, movies, and live news/sports.

Here’s what you can do: you can stream live TV from channels like AMC, BET, Discovery, MTV, and more. There’s also a 30-day DVR so you can record stuff and watch it later. And the on-demand section is huge – like 85,000 shows and movies to browse through. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s a pretty comprehensive service.

Look, if you’re a TV junkie like me, you’ll probably love Philo. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job of giving you tons of entertainment options in one app. Worth checking out for sure.

Editor Opinion

So here's my honest take on Philo: Shows, Movies, Live TV. I've tested a bunch of TV streaming apps and this one's pretty darn good. The channel selection is super impressive, with all the top networks you'd want. And the on-demand library is massive - I'm always finding new shows and movies to check out. The live TV experience works well too, with a nice DVR feature. The only downsides are the occasionally clunky UI and the ads, but those are minor issues. Overall, Philo is a great all-in-one TV app that I'd recommend to anyone looking to cut the cord.

The price is a little spendy for the level of stored content mixed with the commercial frequency, and the app isn't available for PlayStation users (which is my primary source)....
