So here's my honest take on Remote for Roku TV Remote. I've tested a bunch of Roku remote apps and this one's easily one of the better ones. The screen mirroring and universal remote features work really well, and I like that it's free to use. Sure, the ads can be a pain, but it's not a dealbreaker. Compared to the official Roku app, this one's a lot more full-featured and user-friendly in my experience. If you want a free, reliable way to control your Roku from your phone, I'd say this app is definitely worth a download.

Description

Been using Remote for Roku TV Remote for a couple months now. It’s basically a free Roku remote control app for Android that’s got some pretty cool features. First off, you can use it to cast stuff from your phone to your Roku TV – that’s super handy. And there’s a bunch of universal remote functions like volume control and all the popular Roku channels. Took me a while to figure out the layout, but once I got the hang of it, it’s been working really well.

Here’s what you can do: you can control your Roku device, mirror your screen, and access all the Roku channels. There’s also a wireless remote mode which is nice if you don’t wanna use the phone. And you can even use the app to find your physical Roku remote if you lose it – that’s a lifesaver.

Look, if you’ve got a Roku and you’re looking for a free, full-featured remote app, this is definitely worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying sometimes – but overall it’s a pretty solid option. I’d recommend it.
