So here's my honest take on Shabbos Clock. I've tested a bunch of productivity apps and this one's pretty solid for its specific use case. The core functionality - automatic alarms, clock display, sunrise/sunset scheduling - works really well and makes it easy to keep your phone on without breaking Shabbat rules. The interface is clean and intuitive too, which is a plus. On the downside, the free version has some annoying ads that get old after a while. And the setup can be a little tricky if you're not tech-savvy. But overall, if you need this type of app, I'd say Shabbos Clock is worth checking out.

Description

Been using Shabbos Clock for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you keep your Android device on during the Shabbat without breaking the rules. Basically, it’s got an always-on clock and alarms that shut off automatically after a set time so you don’t have to mess with it.

There’s some pretty cool features like setting alarms based on sunrise/sunset and scheduling repeating alarms for your weekly Shabbat routine. And it’s got everything you need to stay connected without violating the Shabbos. Took me a bit to figure it all out, but it works really well once you get it set up.

Look, if you’re an observant Jew who needs to use your phone on Shabbat, this is probably worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Personally, I’d recommend giving it a try if you’re in that situation.
