Description
Been using Sound Amplifier for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps make everyday sounds more accessible if you’re hard of hearing. Pretty solid if you’re into accessibility tools on your Android phone.
Here’s what you can do – you can filter out unwanted noise to hear speech better. There’s also a ‘conversation mode’ which helps focus on a speaker’s voice in noisy environments. And you can use it to listen to things like TV, lectures, or just regular conversations around you. Takes a bit to get used to but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re looking for an app to help you hear better in daily life, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the Bluetooth audio can have some delay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a bit of audio assistance.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Sound Amplifier. I've tried a bunch of accessibility apps and this one's pretty solid. The noise reduction and conversation mode work well to pick up voices in noisy settings. And the ability to amplify and tweak audio from your phone or Bluetooth is really handy. Only downside is the Bluetooth lag can be a bit annoying, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, if you need some help hearing better, this is a pretty good option.

it works ok but to adjust for every song is a bit much i think for Pandora or any other music services out there
It is not an all sound amplifier. Doesn't work with built-in speakers. Viper4Android is better. Trying to enable it without headphones tells me it requires headphones. Five star review requires...
