I’ve been using Sound Profile (Volume control) for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you automatically change your phone’s volume based on where you are, what time it is, or what’s happening. Pretty solid app if you’re into customizing your sound settings.
Here’s what you do: you can create different sound profiles, like a quiet one for nighttime or a loud one for when you’re out with friends. There’s also a Do Not Disturb mode where you can allow calls from certain contacts to come through. And you can set separate volumes for calls and notifications – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re always forgetting to switch your phone to silent or vibrate, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the profiles don’t switch as fast as I’d like – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over your phone’s sound.
