Description
Been using StepsApp – Step Counter for a couple months now. It’s basically a pedometer app that turns your phone into a simple step counter. Just put your phone in your pocket and it’ll track your steps, distance, calories, and all that good stuff. Pretty solid app if you’re into fitness tracking.
Here’s what you do: there’s an automatic step counter that runs in the background. You can also check out charts and data on your daily, weekly, and monthly activity. It’s got some cool features like a widget, Google Fit integration, and the ability to share your progress on social media. Took me a while to figure out some of the settings but it’s not too complicated.
Look, if you’re into health and fitness apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a simple, reliable step tracker.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on StepsApp – Step Counter. I've tested a bunch of fitness apps and this one's pretty solid. The automatic step counting works really well and I like the slick charts and animations that show your progress. It's a good balance of features without being too complex. The social sharing and Google Fit integration are nice touches too. On the downside, the upgrade process feels a little grindy and the ads can get old after a while. But for a free app, it's a great option if you want to track your daily activity.

looks ok but does not support watch steps other than exporting from Google fit and importing into the app. it's a hassle. it only registers paces recorded by the phone....
I think the app is more accurate than most because it truly counts each step and doesn't let you off easy, for example one and one half step is exactly...
I'm enjoying using this app. It would be good to have an option to set a weekly step goal instead of a daily goal. It would also be REALLY helpful...
