So here's my honest take on TapeACall: Call Recorder. I've tested a bunch of call recording apps and this one's one of the better ones. The audio quality is really clear and it's super easy to use. I also like that you can transcribe the recordings, that's a nice bonus feature. The only downside is the ads in the free version, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, it's a pretty solid option if you need to record your calls on a regular basis.

Description

Been using TapeACall: Call Recorder for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you record your phone calls – both incoming and outgoing. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can just tap a button and it’ll record your calls in high-quality audio. And there’s also some transcription tools where you can turn the recordings into text. And you can easily transfer the recordings to a new device if you get a new phone.

Look, if you’re a journalist or just someone who makes a lot of important calls, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the free version has ads that can get annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a reliable call recorder.

Response to the response: So pretty much, the "free" tag on the play store is a lie. I know why you guys won't list it as a paid app for...

Scam. Downloaded fine. And that was the end of anything useful. App won't let me past the "optional" subscription. You have to sign up for at least a "free" trial...

It worked well at first, but now my calls don't merge properly half of the time. I rely on phone call recordings for parts of my job, so it's a...
