I've been using this for about a year and there's only been a couple times where the video got a little pixelated or the voice went in and out for a bit. I've used two other medical apps and one of them was basically the same as this one. The 3rd one I used would black out the video abt 10-15% of the time and the volume was hard to connect. It works just as good as one of the other ones I use. Not a lot of problems but with apps and computers I think there's always going to be something.

The overall experience was fine, but this is the only app that does not work with Bluetooth devices like ear buds or the car. Sound only comes through the phone speaker with no settings or options to change. Yes, my phone is connected to my car and my ear buds, immediately before and after the meeting, all sound comes through the connected Bluetooth, but during the meeting, audio comes through the phone speaker. Very inconvenient when you need confidentiality or if your surroundings are loud.
I've been using this app for over a year now, and every time I have an appt with my provider, the app crashes. It isn't just the app either. The website version crashes, too, on a consistent basis. I think if I'm paying for my therapy, I should get the full hour, and I don't because of the issues we have with this. I've updated, uninstalled, closed all background apps, and done everything the website or faq tells you to do. I hope this can be fixed bc its all my provider uses
I cannot be a 100% sure (technically), but the connection through both parties using a laptop is often times very bad in visual, especially audio quality, there are strong echoes to be heard that are very distracting in a therapy session. Cell phone turned out to be better and more consistent. This type of scenario seems to work way better on any Zoom, WhatsApp or Viber transmission, in regards to the software, microphone and camera use?
My therapist and i almost always have a delay in connecting. If we manage to connect, sound and video often have problems. If I navigate away from the screen we see each other, to open a text or email, when I go back to the video screen, we are unable to reconnect video, only voice. Our connection didn't work so my therapist had to reset or resend a link. All this seems to take 10-15 min out of our precious time together. Almost every time. All this super thickens my video therapy hate.
I've been using this platform for virtual therapy over the past few years, and it's been incredibly reliable. Whether I'm at home or on the go, it's easy to stay connected. Connection issues are rare, and when they do occur, a quick log-out and log-in usually resolves them. In all this time, we've only had to switch to a phone call a handful of times. Overall, it's made my therapy experience seamless and flexible. I would recommend this platform to those looking to hold a face to face meeting.
It's great for meeting with my therapist! I think video and audio quality are great, and it doesn't drop audio when we're both talking. However, it doesn't seem to automatically default to my headphones when they're plugged in, and no matter what I try, there doesn't seem to be a way to route the audio to my headphones in the app. I'd really prefer the added privacy of not having anyone outside my dorm/apartment/room in the household catching something my therapist is saying.
Unfortunately, this mobile app (Android) doesn't recognize any of my Bluetooth devices, I can't connect during sessions with my clients. A year ago this was NOT an issue! This year, i have tried to connect to 3 different brands of Bluetooth headphones and no success. This is a HUGE problem now because it leaves me with "speakerphone" as the only audio option during telehealth sessions, which is not a viable option as it does not ensure the client's privacy during sessions. PLEASE FIX THIS!!??
This app does it's base function well from the call recipient end. However, accessibility on the phone is very very poor. When signing in your name, holding the back button does not sequentially delete characters. It only deletes one. The response to typing on the phone keyboard is slow. You cannot type multiple characters a second. For people who have motor difficulties, the buttons are small and hard to press. Given the lag in typing and challenge in accessibility, I can't recommend this.
You cannot maintain the call and talking to your clinician and leave the app to look at your notes or text messages for reference without the call disconnecting. My clinician sends me links to look at, but when I open them we get disconnected. When I have my headphones connected, they do not show up in the audio options, there's only a blank space. I luckily clicked on it once and realized that it was my headphones that I could choose.
