Description
Been using Time Guru Metronome for a couple months now. It’s basically a super advanced metronome app with all sorts of nifty tools for musicians. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can set up different time signatures, tempos, and even have it randomly drop beats to force you to keep the groove. And there’s also a built-in drum machine that’s fun to jam along with. And the ability to save custom patterns – took me a while to figure that out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re into music practice and improving your timing, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Time Guru Metronome. I've tested a bunch of music practice apps and this one's pretty darn good. The random beat dropping feature is super helpful for building up your internal rhythm. And the drum patterns are a blast to play along with. Sure, the UI could be a little more polished, but it gets the job done. Definitely recommend this if you're looking to sharpen your timing and feel.

The best metronome app out there. It has no ads, it has a fade feature with 2 awesome parameters, and any accent. This is a practicing musicians metronome. Can't recommend...
Great App if it didn't crash. Have used this on iOS without issues. Metronome will shut off after 30 minutes - 1 hour, which is problematic when practicing.
It does a good job of muting beats as it claims, and it is useful as a simple metronome. If it allowed dotted quarters, dotted haves, and the corresponding rests,...
