Description
I’ve been using Timeleft for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that matches you with other people in your city for group dinners. The way it works is, you take a short quiz so the app can figure out your vibe and preferences, then it sets you up with a group of 5 other people for a meal at a local restaurant. No swiping or pressure, you just show up and have a nice dinner with some new friends.
There’s a bunch of cool features – you can pick your neighborhood, language, dietary needs, and even budget. The app will handle all the logistics like reserving the table. And they have these icebreaker games to help get the conversation flowing when you meet up. In some cities they even do an after-dinner drinks thing so you can get to know people better.
Look, if you’re into meeting new people and trying new restaurants, you’ll probably like Timeleft. It’s not perfect – the app can be glitchy sometimes and the matching isn’t always spot on. But overall it’s a pretty solid way to expand your social circle and do something different for dinner. Worth checking out for sure.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Timeleft. I've tested a bunch of social/events apps and this one's one of the better ones. The concept is super cool - I like how it takes the awkwardness out of meeting strangers by setting up the whole experience for you. The icebreakers and group size make it easy to chat and get to know people. And the ability to filter by your preferences is a nice touch. On the downside, the app can be a little buggy at times and the matching isn't always spot-on. But overall it delivers on what it promises and I've made some cool new friends through it. If you're looking to mix up your dinner routine, Timeleft is definitely worth a try.
