Been using TrueLane by the Hartford for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that uses your phone’s sensors to track how you drive, and the safer you drive the better your insurance discount will be. Pretty solid if you’re into that kinda thing.

There’s a bunch of features – you can see your driving stats, get feedback on how to improve, and even earn points towards your discount. It’s got a nice clean design and the data is pretty easy to understand. Took me a while to figure out some of the more advanced stuff, but overall it does what it’s supposed to.

Look, if you’re looking to save on your car insurance, this is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit glitchy sometimes and the points system is a little confusing. But if you drive safely, it’s an easy way to get a discount. Worth giving it a shot.

So here's my honest take on TrueLane. I've tested a bunch of driving apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The automatic tracking works well and I've found it does actually help improve my driving. The discount is a nice perk too. But it's not without its flaws - the app can be buggy at times and the points system is a bit unclear. If you don't mind the minor annoyances, it's a pretty good option for safe drivers looking to save some money on their car insurance.
