I’ve been using the Vargo Anesthesia Mega App for a couple months now. It’s basically this huge medical app that combines 17 different anesthesia-related tools into one. So it’s got stuff like malignant hyperthermia info, anesthesia calculations, crisis management algorithms, and more. Pretty solid if you’re an anesthesia provider or student.
Here’s what you can do with it: there’s a section on malignant hyperthermia that breaks down the latest guidelines. And the calculations tool has tons of useful formulas like BMI, oxygen cylinder duration, etc. It’s got crisis management info too – algorithms and review notes for things like airway emergencies and cardiac issues.
Look, if you work in anesthesia, you’ll probably really appreciate this app. It’s not perfect – some of the info could be more detailed in my opinion. And the UI feels a little dated. But overall it’s a super helpful resource to have on your phone. Worth checking out for any anesthesia professional.

So here's my take on the Vargo Anesthesia Mega App. I've tested a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty solid. It's got a ton of useful tools and reference info packed into a single app. The malignant hyperthermia section is especially well-done in my opinion. And the calculations tool is super handy. But it's not without its flaws - the UI could use an update and some of the content feels a little light. Still, if you work in anesthesia, this is a must-have app in my book.
