Description
Been using YI Smart for a couple months now. It’s basically a camera app that lets you keep an eye on your home when you’re away. Pretty solid if you’re into home security and monitoring stuff.
Here’s what you do: you can set up the camera in your house and then check the live feed from your phone. There’s also 2-way audio, so you can talk to people at home. And the 111-degree wide angle lens is great – you can see a lot of the room. Took me a while to figure out the 4x digital zoom but it’s useful for getting a closer look.
Look, if you’re into home security cameras, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit glitchy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on YI Smart. I've tested a bunch of home camera apps and this one's pretty solid. The video quality is great and I love the wide-angle lens. The 2-way audio also works really well. In my experience, the setup was easy and the app is user-friendly. The only downsides are occasional bugs and the fact that it can get a little repetitive after a while. But if you're looking for a reliable home monitoring solution, I'd say YI Smart is worth considering.
