I've tested a bunch of different racing games on my phone, and Art of Rally stands out to me as a really polished and fun little title. The controls feel satisfying, the visuals are super charming, and there's a good amount of content to dig into with the daily challenges and leaderboards. And that said, the core gameplay loop can get a bit stale if you play it for hours on end. And while the free-to-play model is fair, the ads can get a little annoying. But overall, it's a great casual rally experience that's perfect for short bursts of play.

Description

Been playing Art of Rally for a couple months now. It’s basically a retro-inspired rally racing game where you get to drive all these classic cars from the 60s and 70s on these really cool stylized stages. It’s got a neat minimalist art style that kinda reminds me of those old arcade racers, but with some modern flair.

The gameplay is pretty straightforward – you just gotta navigate these winding dirt tracks and try not to crash. There’s also daily and weekly challenges where you can compete against other players for the fastest times. It’s a nice little casual time-killer, though it can get a bit repetitive after a while.

Look, if you’re into racing games or just love that retro aesthetic, you’ll probably have a good time with Art of Rally. It’s not gonna blow your mind, but it’s a solid little game that nails the core rally experience. Worth checking out, especially since it’s free to play.
