So here's my honest take on Bury me, my Love. I've tested a bunch of story-driven adventure games and this one's pretty unique. The way it's set up as a back-and-forth text conversation between Nour and Majd is super effective at pulling you in and making you care about their journey. And the strategic depth is also impressive - you're constantly weighing difficult choices that have real consequences. But it's not all perfect - the ads can get annoying, and I found the progression to get a bit repetitive after a while. Still, I'd say it's a really solid game, especially if you're looking for something a little different.

Description

Been playing Bury me, my Love for a couple months now. It’s basically a text-based adventure game where you play as Nour, a Syrian refugee trying to make her way to Europe. Your husband Majd, who’s stuck back in Syria, sends you messages through an app trying to help you get there safely. And

There’s a ton of strategic depth to the game – you have to make tough choices about your route, whether to trust people you meet, and how to conserve supplies. It’s not just a straight line to the border, there are lots of branching paths and consequences to your decisions. And the clan wars feature is pretty cool – you can team up with other players to try and take down rival groups.

Look, if you’re into strategy games with a strong narrative, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – there are some annoying ads if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a solid experience and worth checking out if you want something a bit different from the usual base-building or battle royale games.
